And between starmer quitting / pushed and a general election there will be so many dinghy's in the channel they could practically walk across. As they realise this will be their last chance they will ever have to make it across.

Actually, I can't imagine a scenario in which any of the well-known Labour MPs becoming PM and chancellor DOESN'T make the bond markets completely freak out.

Liz Truss was a very safe pair of hands in comparison to any of them. And lending rates are already higher than peak Truss. We're barely keeping our heads above the water already...

We could be in for some tough times before this madness is over.
