I think his leaving is regrettable but inevitable.
He entered number 10 and the buzzword was change, but it hasn't worked out that way.
I'm disappointed and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I think Andy Burnham would do a brilliant job. IMO, he's been great for GM, but his chances of getting in number 10 don't look good.

It’s 50 50, the onus is on the PM to calm their nerves and point out that their seats will be under a lot more threat if an election is called
Far rage hasn’t called for it. He fears an early general election.
He tried change, was attacked, then attacked again when he U turned. Classic right wing media set up.
He's a superb media performer but he can’t magic away the problems the country faces. And he doesn’t have a seat.

If Starmer calls a GE. He’s on track to lose 300+ seats. Perhaps he thinks it’s only getting worse.
Too many kisses in his emails to Mandy for him to be a credible leader now. Otherwise he would be resigning and sticking the knife in.

The lying tax dodgers will be quietly influencing torey tax policy whether Ange is elected or not. She might get a sounds good do nothing role under Burnam.

To start with her initial cynical sarcastic quips bored me they had no depth. But omg that's turned around, i really like her now, way more than any other leader.
