Hi,
I've had an extension built and the builder unfortunately filled the areas around the foundation with rubble. Much of this was full bricks and breeze blocks and so would not compact. I've now cleared this out but have a trench around the extension walls and the existing earth. Can you advise what the best material to fill this would be (see photos). Is this too deep to fill with hard-core? Its approx 1m deep at deepest point.
Thanks
