I think it's all about volume. Once there is a critical mass living in an area, there is no longer any need to integrate. You can try to pass legislation, but at the end of the day, if everyone around me speaks Urdu, why would I bother learning English. The same applies to brits, living in the Canaries, Greece, Spain etc.
What piffle, you obviously don't get out much.

I dated a Muslim girl at uni. she was very moderate, didn't cover her hair, I met up with her a few years later at a wedding, she'd was now fully covered. I was quite shocked.

When my wife worked at Slough Council she had a Muslim girl on the team who like your ex, was very westernised in her dress. Then she got married and went full on cover up. Not long afterwards she would boast to anyone that would listen about her husband being in Afghanistan fighting the Americans.

There is absolutely no use in discussing with these left wing trolls or to be polite just wired a different way, none of them will accept the UK has changed massively.
None accept the observation in Birmingham now 12% where there are a lack of white faces, that's not racist it's a fact. Instead it's labelled Racism. Why? Because they want to shut down that argument and brand them with a socially unacceptable label as their one and only argument.
The problem with these debates is that any observation that doesn’t fit a left-leaning narrative is quickly branded as “far-right” or “racist,” rather than engaged with honestly, they can't be honest with themselves it hurts too much. (see Sir Jims point about uncomfortable truths)
Pointing out demographic or cultural change is not the same as expressing prejudice - but it its when you just can't argue it out comes the R card.
Facts and observations shouldn’t become taboo simply because they’re uncomfortable, and this is Sir Jims point, none of you on here can deal with going out of your comfort zone of possibly having to accept someone elses view, like a petulant child you want to denigrate and shutdown their opinion.
If i went to Magaluf town and commented 'oh my, there isn't many Spanish people here' thats not racist. If a Spanish person said the same they are not racist either, they're 'point out' facts. If Spanish person said i ****ing hate the English then yes, but if he gave good reason because they're always fighting and drinking and are clearly not religious or Christian etc, that's a fair comment, even if he said the English have turned the town into a ****hole, that's not racist either its highly likely a fair observation, because its highly likely true, an element of our society have done that to places they take over abroad, whats the problem? Or is it ONLY the UK people in the whole world guilty of doing this, every other nation is perfect right, we can be judged as racist, but the rest of the world, esp 'people of colour' (which is the most ironically exclusive term ever) are not? I think most sane people no matter what colour would agree with me not you.
