(up to) £40k golden goodbye for asylum seekers.

Come to Britain, welcome one and all.
Don't worry, we'll give you a job even though many of our own people are not working.
Here illegally? Don't worry, we're giving you £10k a piece to leave. And yes, we know you might come back.

Farce.

Most European countries let asylum seekers work but only in industries with a large number of job vacancies which their citizens don't want to do. It sounds a decent idea. Other restrictions can be put on them as well e.g. no care work etc.

Maybe the citizens should be told 'you're taking that job, or we're cutting your benefits'.

Is it someone's right to remain on benefits and turn down jobs they are physically and mentally capable of doing? Even if just as a stop gap job until they get into the job/career of their choice.

Nah I don't want to take that job, so I'll keep watching daytime telly with my feet up at the tax payers expense.

And you appear to be a nincompoop who would fail an English language test.
ALL please can you ALL put this muppet troll on ignore, a waste of oxygen and internet bandwidth is this boy/girl. Cant believe its an adult.

The more it gets attention the more it affirms it can engage with drivel and get a response.

£40k is a silly amount to pay for someone to go back to most of the main immigrant countries, where things are much cheaper than here.
They've lost their case, just deport them. You can rent a 2 bed flat typically for about £500/month.

Care home jobs sometimes fall into this bracket. You want 'em working with our elderly?
Indigenous adult care workers need to have a DBS check.
Why do you think asylum seekers would not need the same level of check?
Have you taken leave of your senses?

2. Roles in the adult social care sector

Here are some examples of different types of adult social care roles that this document will cover:

  • Healthcare professionals
  • Care workers
  • Home share
  • Befrienders
  • Shared lives
  • Adult social workers
  • Office of the Public Guardian
  • Power of Attorney
  • Deputies
  • Staying put
  • Transportation
  • Adult care settings – this section also addresses auxiliary roles such as cleaners or maintenance workers

You're talking nonsense as usual. There is no such policy. You've imagined it.

Don't worry, we'll give you a job even though many of our own people are not working.
There is no such suggestion, you've imagined that as well.
The idea was for asylum seekers to be allowed to work, not 'put to work'.

Here illegally? Don't worry, we're giving you £10k a piece to leave.
Illegal immigrants, such as overstayers, etc don't need to be encouraged to leave. They can be deported.
Asylum seekers are not illegal immigrants.

And yes, we know you might come back.
There is no valid economic argument for why an immigrant would make the same hazardous and expensive journey all over again.
And do you think the UK government would not retain records of those that accepted the offer?

Yes, your comments are farcical and easily refuted.

Or they undergo the same checks as indigenous workers. If that's not possible, they can't work in those roles.
It's only the hairbrained eejits who suggest that asylum seekers can waltz into child or care-working without DBS checking.

But that has no relevance to asylum seekers being allowed to work.

Because you don't like my opinion, you seek to shut me down. You do realise that is the policy of authoritarianism, don't you, the prevention of free speech?

It's not £40k, it's £10k. It's £10k per person for up to a family of 4.
If you can't read the news properly you shouldn't be commenting on it.
