For some time I thought Marc Bolan was singing "Milly the loop".

I'd never heard of this so looked it up... it was an unknown record for many years, having been released in the 1970s and getting nowhere. In 2014 a record collector rediscovered and promoted it, making it an underground hit and bringing some success for the brothers. A film was made of the story.Interesting story behind this song, anyone know?

Although the tune is good, Jagger himself said he wouldnt write it today and is a nasty song, I have never liked it because of the lyrics.Rolling Stones 'Brown Sugar'. This is not allowed to be played on the radio any more, despite it being one of the biggest hits of the early 70s. It was everywhere at the time but now history has been erased thanks to the do-gooders.
Even the Stones have dropped it from their set list.
Pure magic from 1971...

These ones always remind me of when we would hang out at the fair when it came to Wanstead flats.
