Hi,What’s the item in white the red arrow points towards?
A nail that was holding the fascia on had popped out, I sealed the hole it left and put some duct tape over it.

I reckon that rainwater down-pipe could act like an organ pipe when wind blows across the lower end..
I did already try using duct tape to seal around the windows. The noise persisted, and I've also heard the noise from outside, so I'm not sure this will help. I will try it again, though, in case I didn't seal things very well last time.just randomly slap say 5 bits off 50x100mm off masking tape in areas you think the noise is coming from until you find the source but not too many at once as you will have to remove them one at a time till the noise returns
if you think its say the rubber seal on a window then you can simply cover the whole length off the rubber as its airflow and vibration you need to interrupt and covering the rubber will both stop vibration and alter the airflow 'if the airflow still passes the taped area and noise still persists when you cover it the noise will change
No trickle vents, but thanks for the suggestion.is there any trickle vents check them
That's a good tip, I've just been sealing over the suspect bits. I'll need to get some more sealant and I'll try doing it properly. Cheersit needs pulling out not just sealing over
Can't be, her snoring is a much louder, baritone sound, not the high pitched squeaking I can hear.Is it your wife whistling? Does she sleep on the window sill?
Never done it used window handle instead.try the door trick again
