People traffickers are devious greedy and determined. No sooner have a government agency targeted one issue, the gangs have already set up another. People underestimate these folks at their peril.

Pity we didn't have some kind of cooperation agreement in place whereby we could work unhindered with our nearest neighbours abroad.

There are loads of variations in pressure, temperature, humidity in the atmosphere. It may differ wildly from what you experience on the ground. It's all different all the time.

Yep, the high-flying aircraft, make very good use of the jet-streams direction and speed, to reduce flying time, and save fuel. The jet-stream is part of the route, and height planning, before a long distance flight even takes off.

I burn Jet A1, to heat my workshop in winter, I get quite a contrail cloud out the back, when I light that up.

From March 1967 to July 1972, Operation Popeye involved cloud seeding by the U.S. military in an attempt to extend the monsoon season over North Vietnam and Laos, specifically over the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which was used to funnel North Vietnamese soldiers and supplies to South Vietnam.

It proved to be quite effective, I seem to remember.
