I see from an old forum thread in 2015 suggested replacement pushbutton with a cable pushbutton

We have a comfort level cistern - and the cistern looks exactly like this

I have done quite a bit of work on a 2nd one we have , changing height etc , and also pulled out the drain mech and replaced washers before
so a handle would be better if there is such a thing, but i guess if i can just replace the drop valve and not have to change the front panel - that would be good , if the new one just happens to fit the hole -
thanks
Hello. I have had a new Wirquin dual flush toilet installed less than 8 months ago when the push-button broke and was replaced with an original replacement, which has again broken at the bottom pushing the springs out. I'm getting fed up with this push-button so was thinking if there is a way to convert the buttons to a lever/handle?? Or is there a better quality/more sturdier button which can fit the Wirquin cistern? Thanks.
