It could be that the rise is starting from a lower base.
It would be more interesting to find out what is behind the rise in anti semitism.
Support for Israel is starting slip among the public generally it appears.
If peace was restored to the Middle East then the rise in anti semitism and Islamaphobia would most likely reduce.
However with Trump in charge and his inflammatory language, I don't see peace arriving anytime soon.

If we're honest, hatred of Jews has been around for a few thousand years now, I don't think I've ever come across a solid reason other than a few old tropes. Even Jews are a little bemused about it at times although seem to accept it with mild amusement.
And all this predates any skirmishes in the Middle East.

If we're being honest, hatred of Muslims (UK - Gammon RWR branch) is fairly recent. Since we shipped them over here in their thousands to fill menial jobs, the resentment has been brewing amongst the intellectually challenged for decades, now that black people, Gypsies and gays have lost their appeal. Cheered on enthusiastically recently, with murderous, genocidal attacks from the US and Israel, receiving the greatest cheers.
They can't help themselves.
