I am replacing the wood cladding on this porch with some tongue and groove uPVC cladding. I was going to start at the bottom edge and work my way up but then thought how am I going to insert the next piece as the it needs to go slightly higher to fit the groove onto the tongue of the piece below. Any ideas?
My nephew has booked me in for doing this job next Saturday morning. This has made me take a second look at the job, bottom of the image you can see the old flat roof felt poking out the bottom of the cladding. I will cut this material off the edge so the cladding piece at bottom will sit flatter, is there any issues removing this?. Also does this small area need some form of ventilation incorporated, if so how would I do that?
