England council results

All I see is that Labour are not as bad as the last government, but things aren't so bad I'd vote in a corrupt attention seeking grifter like Farage who wants to let rich elites pillage the country.
I've been to London twice recently, seems ok to me, and it's ranked one of the safest cities in the world.
You Reform types are all gaslit ignoramuses.
I live in London.
2 trips to tourists areas don't give you the exact picture of what London has become.
Try residential areas on the outskirt of London and be afraid, very afraid.
Favelas are safer.

Nonsense. They've still got the same leader after a year which is more than the Torys ever managed.

Rishi Sunak (Conservative): Oct 2022 – July 2024 (1 year, 254 days)
Boris Johnson (Conservative): July 2019 – Sept 2022 (3 years, 58 days)
Theresa May (Conservative): July 2016 – July 2019 (3 years, 11 days)

Don't worry about the facts odds (y)

I'm there most days which means I unfortunately have to drive up the wretched M5 all the time
I remember the m5 m32 junction and the one pulling off to pathway. I worked further down at cribs causeway too.

I don’t miss the downs either. I believe it’s full of caravans now ?

Whenever I venture up country, rarely have a problem on the A30, rarely have a problem on the M4 or M25, but the M5 - turns to **** as often as not.
An oil tanker jackknifed one morning last week and they shut South bound at J22 from the early hours to 7pm while they drained the contents of the tanker before they moved it.
The rubber necking meant it took 2.5hrs to get to Bristol, then took just over 3hrs to get home.
Luckily I had an empty plastic bottle.

Starmer will be gone before the end of this month. No way can he stay. The country have voted.

The downs is ok now, no caravans now. I drive over downs most days. I like watching all the ladies jogging.

Was just reading about that yesterday, many have been abandoned as eviction notices are on the way. Campervans a bigger problem but if they're technical legal a bigger problem to resolve, a blanket no overnight parking restriction can seriously impact house residents.
Since my interest in campervans developed I signed up to various 'van life' sites on facebook, good resource for technical advice etc but one thing that has hit home is the sheer number of people living full time in vans, sadly because it's all they can afford.

Just last week a man and his dog were found dead on a van just a mile or two up the road from me. No definitive cause as yet, most people assume carbon monoxide, although it seems the man was a 'veteran' and they're were likely other issues.

He'll be talking about Liz Truss, whom Starmer called a lettuce, because her PM-ship was shorter than the shelf life of a lettuce.

It's the only time I've heard Starmer make a joke, although it was probably scripted and reviewed by a committee.

Probably wise not to let Liz T screw up the average,

It's my understanding the East End has always been working class: dockers and the like, so a bit rough around the edges is about right. No idea about the state of affairs these days as i haven't been wandering around that neck o' the woods for 25 years.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen or know a docker since we bought a house in Plaistow in 1984. The docks are long gone. We lived about 400 yards from Green Street. This is Green Street these days.

We need a general election now. The country has truly shown how they feel about Starmer and Labour.

Massive changes are needed.
