Given the recent about turn on the ECHR by the EU, isn't it fair to say the whole of the EU are Trump ass lickers?

In a nutshell, he leads, we follow.

The Council of Europe, which oversees the ECHR, not the EU, "... are using political consensus to signal to the European Court of Human Rights that the interpretation of the law must adapt to modern migration pressures".
There is no desire to rewrite the ECHR.
