Hello Everyone,

I had a new Navien boiler installed to replace and old gravity feed system and we have had nothing but problems with it. We had to install shutoffs at every rad to force the water to go through all the rads. The boiler keeps shutting down every week or two with an error 302-00 low water pressure. So I shut the power off and restart it and the water pressure is fine. One person suggested that because the pipes going to the rads is only 1/2" it needs to be changed to 3/4" pipe along with the rads. Having to replace all the piping and rads would be very expensive and I'm hoping it might be something else. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks Mike

How many rads?
How old is the system?
Is it 15mm throughout even right near to boiler?

8 rads on the main floor and 4 rads in the basement, system was probably built in the 1950's or 60's. That main pipes are all 1 inch and where they branch off they are 1/2 inch.
