Please can someone tell me how I remove this diesel breather pipe. I am dropping the tank, have removed the filler pipe, but access, although it looks good in the image is difficult. I can get a hand on this fitting, it moves slightly, and I’m sure I can see a clip. But I can’t get a tool to it, and even if I could, when my hand and arm is up there I can’t see anything.
The tank is already unbolted, resting on a jack, but it won’t lower more because of this pipe.
I’m trying to replace fuel line from tank up to the filter in engine bay.
Thank in advance.

This is another image of what I see from laying on my back under the van tooling up. I have already got the filler pipe off.

Another view, and you can see where I have removed the filler pipe, but the vent pipe sits right up tight to the filler pipe connection.

Pretty sure you have to press here and pull/wiggle it off. There may be another tag to push dead opposite.

Press on the tab(s) that I have arrowed in the picture.
I have been doing that. I get no inward movement when I press them together, but I can press either of them in on there own, as in one at a time, and feel the other moving out, like they are connected and moving together.
Possibly I need more pressure to push them together. I’ll buy the tool you mentioned but I doubt I’ll get it in there.
I’ll keep trying. .
