To catch a pro crash for casher, you just have to look for the prep stage because they are not suicidal.
I've never caught one. I've always managed to miss them...

That's got to be the longest-winded, most conceited way ever, of saying "I drove into the back of someone"...

I am a long standing and very experienced driver.
I am an infrequent driver, and still I managed to run into one.
I used to drive, don't need to now.Hmmm. Make your mind up.
I heard a funnier one: I asked why did you stop 5 car lengths from the junction? He said I saw a car coming. There was no other car, just him and me.One of the funniest reasons i heard was "the man didn't know which way to turn so i had to hit him."
No amount of practice will save you from a questionable ABS that was fed the cheapest fluid.Have you ever heard the old saying: "practice makes perfect"?![]()

It's an "industrial process". The steps are well defined, and invariant

Of course I did. How was I to know it was a trap? You think I am a mind reader or something? My thorough assessment of the process and the entities involved were conducted after the event. Immediately after the event, I gamed out all possibilities and there was no escape from the trap. And yet you still walked (or more correctly, drove) straight into the trap![]()
So what you are saying is that if a child ran out 10 metres in front of your car near a junction you’d hit them if they weren’t wearing stop lights? I think I’d only hit them if I was going too fast for the road conditions, not paying attention and/or had slow reactions. Same with a crash for cash incident.Of course I did. The trap is set before a junction so that people have a natural expectation of the car ahead breaking. The reaction time needed to assess breaking to dead stop would have taken a couple of seconds. By then, it's too late. Also they might have messed with the lights. So, all you have to work with is closing of the distance.
Yes, I would definite hit them if a child or animal jump in front of the car. This is how people often die. You can see the bouquets and condolence notes in many places. So what you are saying is that if a child ran out 10 metres in front of your car near a junction you’d hit them if they weren’t wearing stop lights? Then you drive too fast with no awareness and shouldn’t be on the road.Yes, I would definite hit them if a child or animal jump in front of the car.
