Hello.

Can anyone help me with how I remove this toilet seat please? I want to replace it but there isn’t a click mechanism or any wing nuts underneath.

The only thing that I have found is two what look like rusty / worn nuts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated As I’ve been scouring the internet high and low.

Thank you

Thanks but these are on the back. I’ve managed to get one off but the other is rusty and threadbare.

I need to get a new toilet seat but cannot find anywhere that does them or the side fittings. Any idea in the Uk where I can get one? Thanks

Whatch this video and than get either of these rather than a new seat

@jj4091 thank you
The first link wouldn’t work with the toilet but the second one is out of stock.
Any idea what the side hinge is called please? Thank you for your help. I’m not the most plumbed up.

Drill out the metal with some cobalt drill bits, a multi tool might also help.

I replaced the mountings and purposely fitted them with the screws at the front this time so that they were more accessible.
This seat is a Geberit.
