Bournemouth area - roadside stop cock / water meter key?

Hi,

There are a number of water keys out there for sale.

Can anyone identify the exact water meter key for the Bournemouth UK area please?

They are long, silver, & with a 'T' head.

I've also seen a heavier blue type being used, on the same meter, but the silver one seems to be the basic key used.

The stop-cock under the sink is jammed solid. Until the water can be isolated from the meter point, it cannot be
replaced. Depending on the plumber, they can arrive with the wrong key, then request the water board to attend,
to turn off the water. So it would be handy if I had the correct key on hand.

Usually just the basic one, lightweight with a u shape on the bottom.

I think they are for fitting and removing meter heads, not turning them off.

Doh, I worked for a company who crunched Bournemouth Water data for their billing and spent a fair bit of time with some of their engineers including fitting meters but for the life of me I cant remember what the keys looked like. In my defence they were exchanging/fitting meters.

Have you had internal stop-cock difficulties before?
Why not post a pic looking down to the external isolator - and a pic showing the internal stop-cock?

Thanks. Have not got the wrench-key needed for the pavement, external meter service cover.

No plumber yet has managed to turn the mains off, from this tap (10 years). They all head for the roadside point.

Why not post a pic of the external cover?
Am I right in thinking that the incoming mains water is going up to the stop-tap?
Are you sure that nothing has been Tee'd off the incoming mains before it enters the sink unit?
When the external isolator is closed then remove & replace the compression internal stop-tap.
The general layout of the sink unit plumbing is poor.
