My nails never need clipping as I keep them in the tool box.

proper dog nail clippers. and of course don't cut close to the quick.Do you use a grinder or a clipper?

I like all animals. I favour the greyhound as it is the most difficult dog to rehome. When I decided to adopt a dog, my criteria would be to rehome a dog that needs a home and give it a chance of a life that it deserves. A greyhound is pretty much a sad story as its life is bred for racing, once it doesnt do well racing they are tossed aside and neglected and never shown any love. My greyhound will receive the very best of everything including lots of love.

I never let my nails get that long!!!!!proper dog nail clippers. and of course don't cut close to the quick.

That's because you spend so long trotting about and posing around the place, you keep them worn down naturally.I never let my nails get that long!!!!!
I do!! I go out 8 times a day for my walk!!That's because you spend so long trotting about and posing around the place, you keep them worn down naturally.

Obviously you must have dropped one there HM as the greyhound can smell it!!! LolWent out to a very posh restaraunt for an evening meal. Then this celebrity walked in and plonked itself down next to me. I was over the moon.

3rd fastest animal on earth. They need a run once a week and two 20 min walks a day to keep them in an athletic condition. They need a run a couple of times a day. The people I know who have one have a routine where they go to a playing field, one walks away with a treat, the other lets the lead off then he runs over, but instead of a straight line he does a massive sweeping curve - possibly the same diameter as a dog track.
They look amazing when they're running in a loop around you. But you need flat, mowed grass. I've seen him trip over on bumpy grass and end up in a ball of tangled limbs, which can be really dangerous with the speed they do.
Then he'll be all relaxed and have a big sleep for several hours.
They're not forced to run when racing, they somehow need it.
