"Christian" cults are usually scams dressed up as religion. There's usually money or abuse involved. They're manipulative people who are using Christianity as a vehicle for their own ends.
Islam is something else. It has its own courts, mosques, schools and very strict rules, particularly those that curtail the freedom of women.
I drove past a "Muslim Centre" recently. I don't know what the purpose of these places is, they seem mysterious. But they were all out chatting in the car park as they left. Dozens of attendees, all 100% men, not a woman in sight. Presumably they're back at home scrubbing the floors or something.
