Oh come on its true.....I built my house from dog sĥit, it so warm and smells great I only went 600k over budget and I've nailed old crappy pieces of wood to the outside....OMG load of rubbish.....build a nice brick house for god sake.

Each to their own, but "stunning" is not the first word that comes to mind.

Me personally, if I had the money, I'd have a house built to the highest modern spec, but with reclaimed materials so as to make it look old. Country cottage style.

May be two opposing requirements though.
