Garden room electrics - could this have been done more neatly?

I believe that in law, if you want to take action to recover payments made, or to defend not paying an invoice, you have to allow them the opportunity to rectify their work.
Yes but whoever did that hasn't a clue what they're doing

Maybe a different employee would fix it

... what you show is not cheap, it is simply rubbish.

So as "to get him back", no, get someone else, as you simply can't trust anyone who does that.

And there in lies the problem.

One of the things confusing me is the apparent addition of 2 armoured cables.

To try and make sense of that complete abomination, I'd need a picture of the original set-up and the wiring inside the CU and then a picture of what's going on inside the current CU.

We have no idea if TN or TT, or anything else, so we can't say this or that should be done, but either a SWA is isolated or earthed, it should not be half done.

So we can say it is wrong, but not what should be done.

What seems to be demonstrated is it's not the work expected from an electrician, so reasonably safe to assume he is not really an electrician so don't really want to give him a change to correct it, as the reverse may happen.
