Fair enough. Personally I don't see the need for a mega flow of very hot water.

I agree. What I want in a sauna is powerful drench of mains-fed cold water.

I wondered if a cold shower was more appropriate in a sauna.

If they don't take your post down we'll know that it wasn't that which was considered so totally unacceptable.

But I'm not familiar with sauna culture. Is it good etiquette to take a normal, cleansing, shower before entering?
