Do all UK slaughter houses torture then slit throats? Or do they make sure the stunning kills?

Yes. The whole slaughter business is painful and cruel. Some of our regular UK slaughterhouses admit that not all animals are successfully stunned before their throats are cut. All animals are bled (slit cartoid, jugular) as part of the slaughter process.

In other words, a vast majority of meat you see in the supermarket is pre stunned. And that includes ALL supermarket branded halal.
If you don't like cruelty and pain upon animals, don't eat ANY meat.

Nothing if you want to eat it but I don't want to and they shouldn't have mis-sold it, agreed?
