Im trying to justify buying Electric

I would Ideally like to buy an Electric van
● Im.end of terrace.

° But dont own the land.​

● The school I work will have a brand new build ing 3 years

° Would they have cheap Electric points?​

● Im a member of a David Lloyd club.

Numpty at bother's work recently bought a battery driveway appliance - but has nowhere to charge it. Went to a Lidl while it was shut to charge the thing up. Ended up with a 90 quid penalty charge (the irony!!!) notice because apparently you can't use the car parks when they're shut. Guessing the fool must have been sat there for an hour or two while the thing charged. Why do people do it to themselves?

The other night I was having a discussion, I was saying how much cheaper going electric would be, telling them I was getting panels, batteries, leccy car and ripping out my gas boiler and cooker, so doing away with the gas standing charge. In the morning as I sobered up , I thought, stuff that. I must have been well and truly hammered.

Then you can’t charge it.

Don’t know, ask them. Ask them if you will still be there in 3 years time. Ask them if you will be able to use them to charge up your second job vehicle and how much will it cost.

It’ll probably take you three years to buy it so you’ll probably have a better idea in 3 years time.

How many miles a year do you plan doing in it?

At the moment Id say between 5& 8 000 a year. Most of my work as about town. Possibly as far north as Braintree

Things could change I like to think I have a enough baskets for all my Eggs

As it stands im not doing London.

That said I may get cheesed with the school job and decide on London again. There is work if I want it.

This is it. Some could pack a case and jump on a bus.

Its been suggested to get an estate car.

I couldnt function out of anything but an organised van.

With Sadiq looking to be PM , nithing is safe except an Electric van, I suspect.

I love the Hybrid but it is pricey and could be worthless in 5 years if petrol rockets.
