Have a problem with my washer dryer on dry mode. It seems to be heating up ok but at the end of the cycle when you open the door clouds of steam come out. This has never happened before. I have had it apart recently to clean the condenser out as it was full of fluff. Have i put something back incorrectly?
thanks for your help

One of the cold inlet valves will supply a trickle of cold water to the condensor, has this been connected correctly?Without the cold water you get what you have described ,hot steamy washing. Unless you have connected hot and cold round the wrong way.

Thanks New solenoid valve sorted the problem, trouble is the bearings how now collapsed a week later. Is it an easy job to replace, i am more than happy working on it as i am in the engineering sector or should i give up and buy a new machine with a 5 year warranty?

give up, bearings are a pain to change and what will be next? (take new valve out for spare- standard on all m/c
