0800 numbers

0800 are freephone numbers Bolo ... Or is this his 11 year old daughter again :?:
 
Where do these numbers come from? Are they mobiles?

Iv'e an a 0800 calling today, 2 rings, then goes off, i can't answer them quickly enough, had a few now, i think they try to get you to call back, probarbly some scam.

Thats exactly why I asked. So I can phone back and they pay for the call - great! Did yours end in'4851'?

You can say that again :LOL: no, actually last numbers were.....in fact 08001977140 in case anyone gets bored !
 
bolo that one doesnt return any results in google im afraid. :(

Cheers Steve but I haven't made a mistake. We've had 3 in the past hour alone and thats the number that comes up on 1471.

The first one is RAC & the 2nd is MoreThan. You've been on the dog asking for quotes, haven't you? ;)

I had an 0800 number when I was S/E. It only cost me 6p/min. No set up or running charges.

Excellent! Mind you the most frequent caller was a skint family member....
