Good evening gentlemen;

Recently we had our downstairs toilet floor tiled. The floor was a tongue and grooved wooden floor. The tiler covered this floor with porcelain tiles.

While carrying out the work, he removed the toilet bowl and fitted the tiles underneath. He then replaced the bowl and left it sitting on the tiles. He reconnected the fittings.

He was to come back later to screw the bowl to the floor. However, he has become uncontactable.

My question is: how can I fix the bowl to the floor. Originally, it was held to the floor with long brass screws. Must I remove the bowl and drill holes in the porcelain tiles and fit rawl plugs?

Any hints will be gratefully received
