leaking cylinder causing a few problems to downstairs flat.is there an easy way to change it? there doesn't seem to be a drain on the existing cylinder,so if i need to syphon the water, what is the most efficient way?
Turn off water empty as much out taps as will come cut pipe remove fitting at top of cylinder either by cutting pipe or unscrewing .you will get a bit of water then put a hose with abit of 15mm pipe in it into the cylinder and suck . removing mouth before you get a pile of sh#te into your stomach
Fill or part fill the hose with water first, stick it in the tank and let the water in the hose pull the water out of the tank. No need for mouthfulls (or a lungfull) of gungy water.
There are numerous factors that need to be considered when creating and plumbing a heating system, e.g. the lifestyle and age of the people who will use the system, the buildings construction and location and the actual design of the system.
