Can anyone tell me how much(ball park figure) for a rewire for my shower ....as my present one is broken and i believe the wiring is insufficient for anything above 8.5kw..

I don't think he's implying anything of the kind you suggest, rather, that the OP should actually get somebody to quote for the job. Somebody local, who can assess the requirements, by actually looking at the OP's installation.

Thanks for ur replies...im getting some quotes this week, im just looking for a ballpark figure so i can keep my pokerface instead of looking shocked....less than £250would be nice.....fingers crossed.
