This is probably a stupd question. I have a strap on boss for tapping into the plastic soil stack. How do I cut a hole without the bit cut out falling in? I've got a hole cutting wotsit somewhere for me drill. Does that always retain the cut out part?

coolio. thanks. One more REALLY stupid question. For a hole for 32mm pipe, do I use a 32mm hole cutter or would this be too good a fit? Should I go to 35mm instead, and if so would the strap on boss take up the slack? Either way, do I need to seal around the new pipe wit summat?
When using a 32mm strap on boss I usually drill the hole at 50mm. The inner surface of the boss protrudes from the boss and is larger, so this needs to be accomodated in the hole. Solvent weld to fix it in place.
