rad valves

when you screw them on to rad, how do you know where to start screwing so it ends up facing the correct way facing the pipes coming from wall.

When you wrap the ptfe tape round it, you will be able to screw it on & stop where you like. THe tape will give enough to add about 3/4 of a turn after it is tight. Try not to undo it though.

you slacken the tail from the valve first then screw the tail in then attach the valve to the tail

But it works, he may not have the allen key, my way its not required...See Im a diyer not a 'plumber'

May not be the allen key type either , but i am not a plumber either. I am a servivce engineer (gas) in case onetap is looking
