Hi I'm replacing all 4 tyres on a Ford Fiesta 1.3 Flight and have decided to use National Tyres. I put the same tyre size I have now into their website (175/65 14) and it quoted £160.00 fully fitted price for the Avon CR322 which is the one I've decided to go for (has a speed rating of T). However when I don't specify an exact tyre size and just put in my registration number it comes up with the same tyre but instead size 155/70 13 T. This size isn't specified in the owner's guide whereas the other, more expensive first one is. This 155/70 13 T option is also £20 cheaper in total too.

Therefore what I'd like to know is whether the 155/70 13 T is appropriate or I should just stick to the owners manual and go for the more expensive 175/65 14 option. And why does the website give you an estimated tyre size which isn't specified by Ford? I decided on the CR322 due to its high performance and chose National because of their BOGOF offer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Andy

If the tyres on the car are 175/65 14 then replace them with the same size. Trying to fit 155/70 13 is imposible. Think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 You mean you can't put a 13" tyre on a 14" rim? I would never have thought of that

I guess that could explain the problem I have with standard-sized condoms

(they keep falling off)
