Im building a wetroom and have fitted an ACO channel drain. The floor is built using 22mm ply overlaid with aquapanel and im just about to 'dress' the junction between the aquapanel and ACO drain. Im doing this with the usual waterproof membrane (from Wedi) which will be set in cementous tile adheisve. Im worried the adhesive wont stick to the metal flange on the ACO drain - should I prime the metal - if so what with.

Thanks.

If you have ever tried removing adhesive (not tub stuff) from a trowel that has been left to go off you would realise your worries are unfounded,it sticks like sh*t to a blanket

I wouldn't worry about priming the stainless - have you ever tried getting tile adhesive off a stainless notched trowel when it's gone off?
EDIT: Ya bug.ger, you beat me to it!
