loft water tank problem

hi all, is it quite difficult to change my header tank with a like for like ? i,ve found it is cracked and leaking. have seen one on screwfix £47.99.

straight foreward. you may find you'll have to do abit of pipework alterations.

I dont know what kind of header tank you have but they usually cost less than £10 !

thanks for fast replies do i have to cut the new tank myself to fi t pipework ? if so may get someone in. water has gone into daughters room, paper peeled off ceilng now awaiting misses coming home obviously telling me its my fault.

At this time, screwfix have a sale on. A set of "plumbers hole saws", i think now cost £12ish.

Yes a new cold water tank is about £50 for 25gal
F&E tank £20 for 4gal
