Due to a noisy toilet decided to fit a torbek valve bottom fitting. On inspection found that the existing feed column is very close to back cistern wall as the top of the feed to the down pipe is facing the rear wall can I turn this feed forward? help greatly appreciated :?

However Fluidmaster pro ballvalves are much better than Torbecks IMO.
I completely agree, but have you found a supplier of those, tonybhoy?

Yeah,my local merchant. £10.50 plus Vat. Buy about two a week and of course B&Q do the older version which is pretty poor compared to this new one.

Don't know if they do mail order but it's John Richmond in Glasgow they have a few other places not sure if they are in England though.

Very helpful - thanks. I just get blank looks daaahn saaaaf.

My local plumb centre keeps Fluidmaster Pro's on the shelf, I believe currently £8.99+VAT, actually cheaper than the old non-pro ones bizarrely

In that case, since I don't live near Glasgow, I might have to grit my teeth and walk through the door of a Plumb Center.

Oh well, I suppose it's better than being ignored for ten minutes, then scowled at, treated like an idiot, and finally charged double what I'd pay elsewhere. Oh no wait a minute - it's the same.

That sounds like Grahams?

Like going back to the seventies going in there
