Replacing thermostat for Glo Worm 30CXi boiler

    Mira Select Removal

Hi, I have a Mira Select shower mixer that I am trying to remove without causing any damage. The mixer itself is ok, but the plastic cover on the RAC looks like it is clipped on and unlikely to come off in one piece. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to unclip the cover. Thanks

    Concrete Lintels

Thanks Notch 7. The floor joists are only 2" by 2" timber to lift the building clear of the floor, hence the need to support them regularly. My thinking was that rather than build 7 walls I could use the lintels supported at either end.

    Concrete Lintels

Hi, I am building the foundations for a garden office of 3.8m by 3.9m footprint Access to the site is not great (approx 70m walk with wheelbarrow and rising about 5m) so I want to use materials that I can carry up a little each evening. This rules out a concrete raft so I am considering...

    Leaky Radiator

Hi, I have a radiator which is about 3 years old and recently started leaking from where the valve taper thread screws in. I removed the valve wrapped plenty of PTFE tape around it and screwed it back in, but after a week or so it started leaking again. To be honest, I think the thread is...
