There is a small crack in the render which i measured and marked about 3 years ago which hasnt got bigger, its what got me interested in what type of support it had Its probably just your common render crack but it still concerns me a little

Ah ok, i never thought of a powered vent just the usual slotted vent, i am able to fit one to the outside would that be better pulling the stale air and dumping it outside or would that still require another vent on the partition wall to pull fresher air in? Cheers for the reply

Hi all Ok i have recently added some partition wall and a door in the corner of one room to create a tidy unseen storage room but it has a problem, it has no window so it doesnt have any ventilation and after a few months of it being finished it takes on a musty snell when it hasnt been used...
