Hi all I'm just about to tile an internal wall with stone split face tiles. The substrate is cement render base on top of breeze block. My question is should I apply a PVA coat before the tile adhesive or must I use some other type of sealer on top of cement render? Many thanks Andy

Hi all I am about to replace my existing bathroom floor which has 1980s chipboard laid over wooden joists. Some area have slightly rotted through water downing in. I understand 18 mm marine plywood is good as I plan to time the floor. Any comments / advice welcome Andy

Thanks. I'm a bit clearer but: Is there a valve on the header tank that I manually open to refill the tank and does it stop filling automatically when its full? Should i switch the boiler off before draining? What about the hot water tank in the airing cupboard -any switches controls...

This for this. Have tried Drayton but the model UP1 and UP1L are not the same type. Instructions for the UP1 type show a different button display layout with SET buttons. On the UP1L there are no SET buttons.
