Hi I have a cob building with Tyrolean render. Teh bottom of the wall is being eroded because of the splashback from the horizontal roof. Is this a fairly straightforwrad job for a renderer?

Yes, its tyrloean, but must be a very very thin coat! Is that an urgent job to get rerendered do you think?

Hi Would you say this is badly infected woodworm in this lintel? Its a big oak lintel, so would it takes years for it to become a structural issue? How best to treat it? Thanks

Hi This very thin coat of render (or thick coat of paint) has been flaking off the chimney. I think its exposing cement. My concern is if its exposed over winter its going to get sodden and lead to damp issues inside.

Thanks, I dont see any bulging or leaning. Yes, capping very bad. Unfortunately it will need campping like the orginial otherwise will look odd with neighbouring wall (IMHO)
