No worries there... Although it is outside, the light is postioned within an alcove and will point more towards the floor basically iluminating our back door entrance which is again in the alcove part! Thanks for your concern anyway.

I take it when you say spindle you mean the tap on the stop cock? if so, then yes that's where the leak is coming from.

Hi fellows... I have a leaking STOP COCK in the kithen any ideas of how to stop the leak without replacing it...? It looks like a very old stop cock probably from the 60's when the house was built... If one needs to replace can anyone point me in the direction - would love to do it myself...
