    Strimmer spark plug removal

I've cleaned the air filter which was caked up. Also taken the plug out and used a wire brush to clean the black residue off. Connected the coil wire to the lead just to see if it starts. Started straight away. Just need to connect the coil to the lead inside the rubber boot! Also need to...

    Strimmer spark plug removal

Thanks for the reply John. The coil connection has come away from the rubber cap. Do I just push the end of the coil back into the cable and then into the rubber cap?

    Strimmer spark plug removal

Having trouble getting my Strimmer to start so was going to check the plug. Under the rubber plug cover is a coiled spring wound tightly to the top of the spark plug. Do I remove the coil as I can't see any other way of getting the plug out? Thanks

    Mono block tap Washer

Thanks for the replies. The washer has split which sits between the tap and Granite work surface. As the tap needs tightening I was going to put a new washer in. I just wondered if I could purchase a washer. If not then I'll get a new fixing kit! Cheers.

Hello, my wood floor is pulling apart where it fits around the fireplace. As there is an expansion gap and then the strip fits over the gap. Was thinking of putting some wood in the gap to prevent this or should I use cork? Or I could just try re glue it?

Hello, I'm fitting an oak threshold strip which goes around the fire place. The fireplace is tiled. Is it best to just stick the strip or put screws in to hold it in place? there is very slight movement at the floor edge where It meets the fireplace tiles.

    Wood flooring?

Hi, I have been looking at all the different types of wood flooring and have finally made a decision to go for an Engineered rustic oiled floor produced by V4 code EP101. But I have now seen how good reclaimed floorboards would look as we're trying to get a rustic look as our house is early...

    Over boarded ceiling crack

Ye thanks for the replies. I thought about using the no nails as the ceiling is double boarded and locating the joists to screw into maybe awkward and the bathroom is above.
