    the consumer side is the side without the emergency cut-off valve. the bond must be within 600mm of the meter outlet and before a tee if you are a gas engineer or where the gas pipe enters the building if you are an electrician. The bond must be tested by a qualified electrician.

    Its not a good idea. can cause a build of scale and introduce oxygen to the system. Usually from leaking prv due to undersize or under serviced expansion vessel. les usually from a leak on the system. Get some one to fix it sooner. don't wait.

    Powerpoint should say ground floor. Spirotrap is solid brass and doesn't leak. It doesn't need to be dismantled to clean it. Removes non magnetic particles as well as ferouse ones.

    Could be some kind of water hammer. Strange that its in the boiler though. Try fitting a hammer arrestor in the hot water pipe near to the boiler. they arnt to dear and easy to fit.
