    gassy/airy water

I had this same problem a few months ago, especially on the hot. How is your pressure ? Mine was very high, about 6.5 bar,. I installed a pressure reducing valve taking the pressure down to 3 bar and this sorted the problem. Fred

    Rattling pipes

I reckon its an old semi gravity system, in which case, it will have to be updated to a fully pumped system

    noisy toilet

it may be an indirect system, and therefore it could be the ballvalve in the your cold water cistern

No hot water (picture of setup)

would suggest a problem with your 3 port valve, the silver box with 3 pipes going into it

    Mira mixer under pressure

3 bar is more than good enough for most needs, remember that this equates to 30m of head, should be plenty.

    Mira mixer under pressure

Why not install a Pressure Reducing Valve on you incoming mains, they are generally preset at 3bar, altho can be lowered further. Available from A Plumbers Merchant, and very easy to install.
