Breaking up a steel bath

hi all, anyone tried breaking up a steel bath ? If so, whats the best way ?
Was thinking of taking an angle grinder to it.
Need to break it as the stairs are too steep even for a mountain goat !!

cast iron you mean ?

big hammer ,goggles,gloves,ear defenders

pressed steel

angle grinder will do it

You might have to buy a fold-up bath to replace it with then?

No will struggle with new one but didn't want to struggle getting old one out.

steel baths arent heavy
now cast iron ones though they kill you dont they

I get em down in one piece if they are cast iron... The same way they went up. I take the taps out and slide em down on the rim. I'm used to it though so I suggest you use the FBH method for safety's sake.

OOPS just saw the post saying its steel .... ok Ill shut up then

A little warning though. The people will come from miles around just to laugh at you if they find out you cut up a steel bath
