    Thanks RF here's the pic, I guess you mean that earth cable at the bottom, so at least it is there. :D Also, given that I will be adding a further two showers, (ensuites), what size unit would you recommend? The house is 4 bedrooms but I think not very well built in the firstplace :cry:

    Thanks RF guess you've confirmed what I thought, new consumer unit it is then. As for the earth lead, this is the unit as wired when house was built in 1984 so I assumed it was wired correctly, if not I'd better get it checked out. Again many thanks

    I just ripped out my old open fire and opened up the hearth to fit a multifuel stove. I'm lining the fireplace with large 60cmx30cmx1cm porcelain tiles directly onto the concrete blocks, see pic,. What's the best adhesive to use here. All the heat resistant adhesives I've found are in small 1kg...

    So if I fitted a 3/4" warix and used 15mm to 22mm reducers would this work? I'm a little concerned about voiding the warrenty on the pump.

    I'm fitting a new shower pump and bought a 22mm warix flange as advised in the installation guide, but when I disconnected the flange on top of the cylinder it turned out to be a 3/4" outlet. The warix is obviously 1" does anybody know if there is an adaptor available, 1" female to 3/4" male...
