I just ripped out my old open fire and opened up the hearth to fit a multifuel stove.
I'm lining the fireplace with large 60cmx30cmx1cm porcelain tiles directly onto the concrete blocks, see pic,. What's the best adhesive to use here. All the heat resistant adhesives I've found are in small 1kg tubs and seem to be for small wall tiles. Is it possible to use tile adhesive for concrete floors ?

Just use a decent flexible powdwered adhesive - most will be fine up to 100-130°C which will be way above what you'll need.
