i would of ran it higher. if not shorten the clip spacing or if worse can to the worse ran it in steel (LCS)
all the above means adjusting the gas run which i dont recommened.

if it effects all your hot taps then it might be a filter issue,
it will be inside of a combi boiler and on the balancing valve on a unvented h/w set up
on both refer to manufactures instructions, alot of them arn't located in side the burner chamber so you should be alright

if your heating pipes arnt getting hot from under the boiler then it either blocked heat exchanger or hot water thermistor is on the blink (normally around £6) and takes 5 mins to fit, worth a try first

I think you will find that the diaphragm has split or the spring in the diverter valve is on its way out, it will only get worse in till repaired and the heat will start heating upstairs rads instead of heating your hot water
yes they do have the collars mixed up looking at it that flue will JUST be connected.

If that elbow is fully pushed in then that collar doesn't fit round, that is why they send a shorter one with a horizontal flue. If you undo that collar just enough so the foam pad starts to come away and look in the through the gap I can guarantee its not completely push in.
