I'm going to lay our kitchen floor tiles this weekend so here is my question there is down already the standard glued down grey vinyl tiles on a screed base now can I lay the new ceramic tiles over the old ones or do I need to rip them up & get rid of all the old adhesive?

The electrical work at the mo is only very temporary until I've saved up enough to get an electrician I know to do the work & I've dug the trench to put the armoured cable in, but I must admit I didn't think of putting the sockets at roof height

Well here is an update on the shed, it's given me nightmare & has been a real pain at times as it's been my first attempt at building anything but it's not perfect by any way.

I'm starting to plan the inside of my shed, what would be the ideal height for the work bench's from the floor?

Hi big-all tools probably the only thing I don't really have to worry to much about as I have a Titan table saw, Ryobi tools are ERT1500V Router, 240v Circular saw, one+ Planer, one+ Circular saw, one+ Jig saw, one+Drills x3, Evolution Fury3 Miter saw, but skill is something else :lol:

Hi all I don't post a lot on here but read posts all the time as I'm just getting in to woodwork as a hobby, so I know nowt really so can't help with anything. But now I need some ideas & help/advice & really do need it, we came down this morning & found our 9 month old kitten had past away...

If I use HT felt do I need to use brush on adhesive & underlay.

I haven't got anything yet as I thought I'd see what you lot recommend, so I get the correct type.

What is the best or correct way to felt the roof, it is made from 18mm shuttering ply. Cheers Ken

Ok I get it know & I'll get on to that, now as far as the roof goes what thickness of ply should I use, I was thinking of 9mm exterior ply
