Ah I get it… I live in a row of terraced houses and it’s a path that runs across the back of all of the houses so would look stupid if I change my section
Thanks to everyone who gave me help and advice over the past few months
Here’s the end result
Maybe not perfect from a professionals standpoint but happy to have got this over the line
Hi,
I want to fill in these gaps to make it look presentable from the front
I was thinking of possibly using some decking boards
I also have some left over slabs that I can cut to width and sort of ‘box in’ across the front of the shed
what would you experts do ?
Anyone know the best way to get rid of this carpet stain? Don’t know what’s caused it ♂️
I am going to hire a carpet cleaner but want to sort this out first
Cheers
I have decided to use standard mortar mix for pointing my patio purely from a cost point of view
I’m adding some everbuild mortar tone to the mix to give it a bit of colour
Is it best to use building sand at a ratio of 3:1 sand:cement (with a bit of mortar tone)? Or sharp sand?
Am I correct...
I’ve laid half of my patio but I’m unable to continue until next weekend. I work in the shed so need to walk over it. Assuming this is ok to do baring in mind that I won’t be pointing until I’ve done the whole project?
Regarding pointing, I’m going to do a traditional sand/cement mix and put...
I’m laying my patio on mortar bed: 4 buckets sharp sand to 1 bucket cement
1. How much water should I add to this mix? (As a rough guide)
2. How much plasticiser should I add to the above water?
Cheers
Probably yes. Do you really have enough time on your hands to go back checking what people ask in previous threads ?
Thanks anyway
It’s my first time laying Indian stone and a project like this
